Jan 1983
The Light & Love Elderly Hostel has been committed to promoting the love of Jesus Christ by providing accommodations with personal care and nursing care. We deliver decent ageing services to elderly who have poor health condition. The hostel was first established in Siu Hang Tsuen, Tuen Mun. The facilities and service quality were provided according to the government standard which has gained much public recognition.
Sep 1989
Light & Love Elderly Hostel was relocated to a town in Tuen Mun in order to provide better service to residents and convenience to visitors. The former location: Siu Han Tsuen was a remote village at the time.
Since 1989, Light & Love Home has become one of the member agencies of Hong Kong Community Chest and received support from HK Community Chest for better hostel facilities.

Light & Love Home established Kwai Fong Social Centre in response to the increasing demand for elderly services. The centre provides practical services and activities for mental and physical health for elderly in the district.
Light & Love Kwai Fong Social Centre has been received the subvention from Social Welfare Department since 1997.
1992
Light & Love Home set up social service department in different districts in Hong Kong. We aim to provide educational services for all-rounded growth and development. In addition to tutorship for primary and secondary students, we have offered first-aid, music, language courses and others.
With the support of a group of enthusiastic Christian volunteers, we have organized numerous community programs in various temporary housing areas to bring cheer to the residents. (T.H.A.). The locations include Kowloon Bay, Sham Shui Po, Tsing Yi, Sai Kung and Tuen Mun Public Housing Estate and Wu King Estate.
1993
In only 2 years, we organized 69 complimentary mass community programs in many public housing estates and temporary housing areas in Hong Kong. We aimed to deliver the message of a positive attitude towards life and to share the origin of abundant life to the residents through these programs.

The first Light & Love Charity Walk was organized and it has become one of the annual fund-raising events of Light & Love Home.
Mar 1996
Light & Love Kwai Fong Social Centre for the Elderly set up a decent, well-equipped recreational centre to serve the elderly nearby.
2001
It was an important year for youth service development of Light & Love Home. In addition to complimentary tutorship and fellowship to students in various schools, Light & Love Home organized volunteer training to a primary school in Tuen Mun.
In the same year, Light & Love Kwai Fong Social Centre for the Elderly was renamed as 'Kwai Fong Social Centre for the Elderly'.
Sep 2005
To care for the people in need, Light & Love Home established its International Charitable Division to set up various charity funds to support the global social welfare charity work includes Orphan Sponsorship Program and Education Sponsorship Program over the world with the hope to improve the children’ living and education condition.
2009
The first Light & Love Charity Marathon was organized and this event has become one of the mass fund-raising events of Light & Love Home.
2010
Light & Love Home stresses the importance of holistic health for the population who are currently involved in the workforce. EaseZone serves with sincerity providing diverse activities in a comfortable environment at a convenient location.

The name of Active Ageing Centre signifies a place to enjoy abundant life and unleash talents for the retired group. We aim to gather the retired talents to learn continually and engage in the community actively.

District Volunteer Development Program offered an ideal platform for volunteers to actively participate in voluntary services and it rewarded the recognition in community work.
2014
This two-year project aims to promote initiative for inclusiveness and build a sense of community through music. Children from newly immigrated and/or low-income family will have the opportunity to join chorus.

Our centre was upgraded from a social centre for the elderly to ‘Light & Love Kwai Fong Neighborhood Elderly Centre’ so that the elderly can ‘Ageing in place’ and embrace their silver age with joy.

Light & Love Home, The Church of God in Hong Kong and Sing Through The Land Music Centre co-organized to achieved a Guinness World Record of the largest ukulele ensemble consisted of 6,125 people.

Light & Love Home made another miracle with the co-organizers. A new Guinness World Record of largest ukulele ensemble consisted of 8,065 people was made by playing Amazing Grace together.
Through this accomplishment, families could learn and participate together and brought joy and blessings to the community for 3H values.

According to the result announced by the Education Bureau, Light and Love Home was recommended to allocate a kindergarten premise located on G/F of King Tai House, On Tai Estate, Kwun Tong.

The establishment of the kindergarten marks that the services of Light and Love Home reach all ages. The school occupies an area of 8,000 square feet. Through the kindergarten “Let there be LIGHT and heritage of LOVE”, we hope to help children and families live a joyous and abundant life as well as to promote and practice “3H” value - Healthy Life, Happy Family & Harmonious Community.

In January 2023, the 40th anniversary of the establishment of Light and Love Home
At the same time, the newest self-financed service unit of Light and Love Home-Miracle of Music Home (Wah Fu) is also officially put into service. It is located at Wah Fu Estate,Pok Fu Lam. Our volunteer team will provide appropriate services to the neighbours such as health talks, various interest classes, family visits, etc. We hope to add happiness to Wah Fu Estate and build a harmonious community together.

Light and Love Tak Tin Home Care Services Centre is a 200 square feet service unit of Light and Love Home located in Tak Tin Estate, Lam Tin.
We mainly provide medical escort, home help and personal care services for elderly and those in needs in Hong Kong. We also rent rehabilitation equipment, such as wheelchairs, shower chairs, walking frames, etc.

In 2022, we got the opportunity to start another kindergarten, this time is at Hin Keng Estate, Sha Tin. The spacious school campus provided an ideal learning environment for children in accordance with their learning needs for whole person development.

At 3:30 pm on November 19, 2023 (Sunday), Light Love Home and the co-organizer held an event at the Amphitheatres of Morse Park (Park No. 4). , with 1,612 people, successfully refreshed the Guinness world record title of "Most people stretching online and in a single venue simultaneously".
