Being a Vehicle for a Day
In the story “Being a Vehicle for a Day”, children explored different vehicles, visited the several drivers and embark on a rich learning journey!
We visited Hin Keng bus terminus, went on a car, a van and a motorcycle. The children learned through observation and gained in-depth knowledge through interviews! We compared the characteristics and functions of different means of transportation, and the safety rules involved; the children also learned some proper nouns, such as: steering wheel, wiper, trunk, etc. They love the experience very much and even recall that “Children can only ride on motorcycles until they are eight years old!”
Thanks again to all the parent volunteers and Uncle Wong for taking their precious time so that the children can have a happy learning experience.
